National Youth Union
We have been distributing ration, hygeine kits as well sanitary pads since day 1 of the lockdown. We have a special campaign for stray animals called "The Paw Project" which is headed by one of the founding members of our organization. We aren't as registered NPO yet but we've started the process of registration.
SEEDS
The NPO is reaching out to vulnerable communities in the states of Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha and Uttarakhand. Besides supporting the elderly and children, SEEDS is taking some burden off frontline health workers by supplementing public health systems, supplying hygiene kits and assisting in setting up temporary quarantine facilities.
Give India
Give India is a non profit organisation in India. It is an online donation platform and aims to channel and provide resources to credible non-governmental organisations across India. they are raising funds for two COVID19 programmes at the moments: Donation for food parcels for daily wage earners Hygiene kits for those in high risk areas
Kashtakari Panchayat
Among the frontlines of India’s battle against corona-virus are waste pickers. Kashtakari Panchayat has organised a fundraiser to support nearly 7,000 workers in Pune and the neighbouring Pimpri-Chinchwad. The funds will be used to provide safety kits(gloves, masks, soaps and sanitizers) and a month’s supply of essentials.
Acid Survivors & Women Welfare
The 'Feeding Chennai' project aims to provide essential supplies and relief material such as Hygiene Kits and Food Packages to daily wage workers and low-income group. Through this project, we aim to reach out and positively affect the lives of over 10,000 families living in the slums opposite Chennai Central and in other prominent areas.
